authenticate

LdapUserContext authenticate(String username,
 String password)
                      throws LdapAuthenticationException

Authenticates method.

The returned context identifies the directory entry that was authenticated, not the string the client sent: because Ldap matches names case-insensitively, the name it carries is the directory's own spelling and may differ from username. Callers must use that name as the user's identity.

Parameters:

username - Name of authenticated user.

password - Password of authenticated user.

Returns:

Context with authenticated information.

Throws:

org.apache.ignite.security.exception.InvalidCredentialsException - in case when the supplied credentials are rejected (an expected authentication failure).

LdapAuthenticationException - in case when authentication fails for any other reason: an unreachable server, a misconfiguration, or an ambiguous or missing user.
